Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics for a travel assignment in Hyannis, MA. The role involves delivering patient care through the nursing process in a dynamic hospital setting.

As a travel RN, you will be supported by a nurse-first agency with license reimbursement, certification reimbursement, weekly pay, and comprehensive health insurance. MA RN license and BLS are required, with pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• Recent Pediatric experience within the last 2 years in an acute care facility.
• Pediatric certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer and monitor patient responses to all medications.
• Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing.
• Provide documentation of assessment throughout hospital admission.
• Initiate plan of care with communication of pertinent data.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse and Computerized Nursing Informatics.
• Participate in monitoring the quality and appropriateness of care.
• Adhere to safety, blood/body fluid policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and hospital matters.

Requirements of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel

• Must read, write, and communicate in English
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
• Successful passage of CCH’s Pharmacology exam
• BSN Preferred
• Recent Pediatric experience within the last 2 years in an acute care facility
• Pediatric certification preferred
