Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pediatrics Unit. The RN is accountable for utilizing the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising staff, coordinating care for a group of patients, and consulting with the health care team. Position reports to the Nurse Manager.

Shift details are set by the hiring manager. Pay rate will be determined according to the labor agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in WV required.
• Maintains CEUs for licensure.
• Must maintain CPR.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to coordinate patient care for a group of patients.
• Delegate nursing tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
• Consult with the health care team as needed.
• Shift assignments will be determined by the hiring manager.

We are looking for dynamic professionals who want to be part of an exciting time at our facility as we continue construction of The Hoops Family Children's Hospital. The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Position reports directly to the Nurse Manager. The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
