Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our NICU. We are looking for dynamic professionals who value patient service and a team mentality.

The RN will use the nursing process, supervise staff, and coordinate care for a group of NICU patients in collaboration with the health care team. Qualifications include WV RN licensure, CEU maintenance, CPR, and a preference for a Bachelor’s degree and specialty certification.

• Maintains CEUs for licensure
• Must maintain CPR
• Specialty certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Using the nursing process to plan and provide patient care.
• Delegate tasks to other patient care staff as appropriate.
• Supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate care for a group of NICU patients.
• Consult with health care team as needed.

The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.

• AS/Diploma/Regency Degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
