Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Progressive Care Unit. The CNC delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all unit functions, partnering with management to monitor nursing care per policy and support an exceptional patient experience.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to admit and discharge patients, provide coaching and training to staff, assist with staffing schedules, and help drive improved outcomes and service.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with ADN is required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the unit.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance performance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and coverage.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN)
• Registered Nurse Associate Degree
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
