Job summary

A leading pediatric healthcare provider in Johnston, Iowa, is seeking a Nurse Team Lead for its inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program. This role involves ensuring high-quality clinical care for children with complex medical needs and engaging staff effectively. Candidates should have at least two years of nursing experience in pediatrics or related fields, possess a valid nursing license, and be committed to a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare. Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, rehabilitation and/or with children with complex medical conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Mobility within clinic areas and ability to frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff provide care according to the child’s care plan.
• Manage staff performance and develop staff skills.
• Provide direct care as assigned.

Skills

Nursing experience in pediatrics

Rehabilitation knowledge

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Effective communication

Education

Current valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa

Active BLS certification
