Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pediatric Allergy Nurse to deliver specialized pediatric care across satellite locations. You will conduct allergy challenges, perform testing, administer therapies, educate families, and coordinate with the care team in a fast-paced setting.

Requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience, and a Massachusetts RN license.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
• Current RN License in Massachusetts required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral food challenges and drug challenges.
• Perform skin prick and intradermal allergy testing.
• Administer biologic therapies and monitor patient response.
• Manage environmental allergen immunotherapy and oral immunotherapy treatments.
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education.
• Perform phone triage and address patient and parent concerns.
• Complete prior authorizations and assist with care coordination.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
