MemorialCare is seeking an RN per diem at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in the Wound Healing Center. The role involves providing safe, cost-effective patient care using the nursing process within RN scope.

Essential duties include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, collaborating with the team, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives. BSN is preferred and CA RN licensure is required.

• Experience working in wound care preferred.
• BSN by NEC review required unless waived.
• California RN license required.
• BLS card required.
• Wound ostomy care certification within 12 months of hire date.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background check, health eval including TB screening as applicable.

Pay Range*: $66.74/hr - $83.90/hr

Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurse provides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• Experience working in wound care preferred
• Completion of pre-employment drug screening.
• Completion of pre-employment criminal background reference check.
• Completion of pre-employment health evaluation including TB screening and annual or bi-annual re-evaluation as indicated by Employee Health.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC).*Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC.
• California Registered Nursing (RN) License required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Card required
• Wound and Ostomy Care Certification required within 12 months of hire date
