Job summary

MemorialCare's Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Wound Healing Center for a Per Diem Day shift (9 AM–5:30 PM) to provide safe, cost-effective patient care.

The RN will assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes. California RN licensure, BLS, and wound care certification within 12 months are required.

Pay Range*: $66.74/hr - $83.90/hr

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• Experience working in wound care preferred
• Completion of pre-employment drug screening.
• Completion of pre-employment criminal background reference check.
• Completion of pre-employment health evaluation including TB screening and annual or bi-annual re-evaluation as indicated by Employee Health.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC).*Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC.
• California Registered Nursing (RN) License required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Card required
• Wound and Ostomy Care Certification required within 12 months of hire date
