Sign-On: $10,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements.

Directs and coordinates all operations of the department according to the policies, procedures, standards and standard work that guide the processes for the assigned department. Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individuals and processes for the department to ensure consistent high-quality, cost-effective patient care. Manages material and labor resources as defined in the departmental annual budget. Demonstrates positive, professional communication with patients, families, physicians, departmental and interdepartmental staff to optimize workflow and to facilitate problem identification and resolution.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications/Work Experience
2+ years experience required in an area of similar clinical expertise.
Supervisor And/or Nursing Leadership Experience Preferred
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required for external hospital candidates, unless waived by Nursing Executive Council (NEC) review (includes transfers between MemorialCare hospitals).
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card (BLS) required.
Current American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required.
Current clinical certifications as required by the department.
