Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center invites qualified Registered Nurses to join the PCU West team for day shifts. You will deliver patient-centered care using established nursing processes, coordinate with physicians and staff, and ensure safety.

The role emphasizes compassionate care and adherence to clinical protocols. The RN will register medications, monitor patients, educate families, and participate in life-saving interventions when needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Basic life support and nursing procedures knowledge.
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to develop and follow care plans.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient safety and infection control.
