Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring an Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in Somerville, NJ. The role covers day and night shifts, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, and per diem arrangements.

Ideal candidates bring ADN or higher, RN licensure, and experience in medium-to-high acuity settings. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals and IV infusions, and coordinating with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions, including use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies.
