Medical City Frisco, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN PCU) for PRN opportunities. You will provide pre- and post-operative care in collaboration with providers, serving as a patient advocate to ensure an exceptional experience.

In this role you will assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform procedures as ordered, document care promptly, administer medications, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical

Qualifications

• ACLS required within 30 days of start date.
• BLS required within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure must be active.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
• Document care in the medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
