Job summary

Med Career Solutions is seeking an RN for the PCU/IMCU in Panama City, FL. This full-time role offers Day or Night shifts (rotating weekends) and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care with pre- and post-operative nursing responsibilities.

Requirements include 1 year of recent acute PCU experience, Florida RN license (or compact) with 60 days to convert, RN Diploma/ASN, ACLS and BLS within specified timelines. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute PCU experience (or similar) within the last year.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate license.
• RN Diploma or ASN.
• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PCU/IMCU.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with providers.
• Advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Job description

Position: RN PCU (IMCU) – Progressive Care Unit

Location: Panama City, FL

Shifts/Schedule: Full-time Days (Rotating Weekends) or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

What You’ll Do: The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

Qualifications Required:

• 1 year of recent (Within the last year) acute care PCU Experience. *Would Consider acute care ER RN experience or 3 years of acute Med-Surg experience * Experience MUST be recent (within the last year) *
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or ASN
• Advance Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay rate range: Min $27.72/hr. – Max $39.60/hr. (Based on years of experience)
• Shift Diffs: Nights $4/hr.
• Sign-On Bonus: Case by Case
