Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for placement in a PCU/IMC/Stepdown setting in the Boston area. As an RN in PCU/IMC/Stepdown, you will monitor patients with intermediate needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to clinical standards while pursuing

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Assist with procedures and provide post-operative care as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain infection control standards.
