Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU on a 13-week assignment. The nurse will work the 3rd shift (12-hour shifts) and provide patient care in a cardiac telemetry-enabled unit for an adult inpatient population.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in nursing with cardiac telemetry, current RN license (or multi-state compact), and BLS/ACLS certifications. Prior experience with cardiac monitoring is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or Compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an inpatient adult population.
• Care for patients with myocardial infarction, heart failure, COPD, strokes, and arrhythmias requiring close cardiac monitoring.
• Maintain competency in nursing theory and practice and comply with professional standards.

Description:The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.Essential functions have been adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.Experience working with a diverse patient population including myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment is required.Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is necessary for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
