Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a Registered Nurse for our Observation Unit to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and support a 1:4 patient ratio for adults and geriatrics.

Requirements include 2+ years in medical-surgical or telemetry, Charge Nurse experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and EPIC charting. Active Ohio RN license required. ARMStaffing benefits and travel/housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• Charge Nurse experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is essential.
• Must have an active RN license in Ohio; pending licenses will not be accepted.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Observation Unit, equipped to provide excellent care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with intermediate medication drips (e.g., heparin, nitro, cardizem, insulin) and possess Charge Nurse experience. Our focus is on delivering high-quality patient care for those with various conditions such as chest pain, atrial fibrillation, and more.

• Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics in an observation setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, particularly with drips.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary team members.
