Travel RN Cardiac Stepdown | New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYC) | Weekly Start Dates | 34.5 hrs/week | Travel or Local | BSN Required

Join the elite team at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, as a Travel RN in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit. Position Details

• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown
• Shift: 11.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:15 PM or 7:00 PM 7:15 AM)
• Hours/Week: 34.5 hours
• Call Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Yes, to units of similar acuity
• Scrubs: Navy Bottom + White Top (Dark Shoes) or All White (White Shoes)

Start Dates & Interview Process

• Start Dates: Weekly; allow 4-6 weeks for compliance clearance
• Interviews:
• Voice Advantage Interview (virtual pre-screen)
• Nurse Manager Interview

Required Qualifications

• BSN Degree
• New York State RN License Must be active and in hand
• Certifications: AHA BLS (Advanced certifications a plus)
• COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinated No declinations accepted
• Skills Checklist matching order skill set
• EMR Experience required

Experience Requirements

• Travel RN experience OR local NYC hospital experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• 2+ years of experience in the Cardiac Stepdown specialty within the last 3 years
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with ventilator management and telemetry
• Proficiency with vasoactive drips
• At least 2 years of experience in Med-Surg, Progressive Care, or Stepdown hospital units
