WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Step-Down RN for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Morriston, NJ.

Job Function

• Day Shift.
• 3x12: 7am - 7pm.
• Delivers patient care using the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process, grounded in theory, research, and evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs, applying critical thinking to inform care decisions.
• Prioritizes all aspects of patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, discharge planning, and appropriate delegation.
• Educates patients and caregivers about the care plan, health promotion, disease prevention, and care transitions, while considering their readiness to learn.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• 1–2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience required; ICU/CCU background strongly preferred but not mandatory.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association.
