Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role supports adult patients in a 47-bed unit with patient ratios varying by acuity. Night shifts, 12-hour boards, and rotation weekends/holidays are expected.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year RN experience in PCU or cardiac care, RN license, and ACLS/BLS with telemetry certification. IV titration and blood transfusions are common procedures in this unit.

Qualifications

• RN License required.
• ACLS, BLS and Telemetry Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in a 47-bed Progressive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and titrate IV drips; monitor telemetry.
• Perform blood transfusions and ensure patient safety during shifts.

Description:This role is within a Progressive Care Unit.The unit consists of 47 beds.Patient ratios vary from 4 to 6, depending on patient acuity.Staffing includes both day and night shifts with various roles.Equipment utilized includes Alaris pumps, PYXIS machines, and epicardial pacing boxes.Typical procedures performed include blood transfusions, IV drip titration, and medication administration.A positive, team-oriented, and patient-centered attitude is essential.Candidates who have worked in a cardiac unit previously are preferred.This position requires rotating weekends and holidays.Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees.
