Job summary

HiredFirst in Arizona is seeking a registered nurse for the night shift to provide direct patient care to adult telemetry/step-down patients. You will monitor, assess, and respond to changing patient conditions while administering medications and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires an active RN license (Arizona or compact). Prior PCU/telemetry experience, strong critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Location: Arizona 85234
Pay: $2,108 - $2,365/week
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Shift Type: 3x12-hour shifts (Sunday-Saturday, rotating schedule)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult/telemetry/step-down (PCU) patients

Monitor, assess, and manage patients with complex and acute conditions

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders

Interpret telemetry/monitoring data and respond to changes in patient status

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and protocols

Support patient and family education throughout the care process

Qualifications

Active RN License (Arizona or compact state - Required)

Experience in PCU, step-down, or telemetry nursing preferred

Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills

Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
