Qualifications

• CA RN License required
• CPPS certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma training/certifications preferred
• BSN/MSN preferred or RN-BSN enrollment
• Experience with quality improvement tools (Lean Six Sigma) preferred
• TeamSTEPPS training/master trainer certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Champions a variety of patient safety projects and coordinates improvement efforts with departments and stakeholders.
• Oversees regulatory compliance with CA Title 22, CMS and The Joint Commission; collaborates on gap analyses and reports findings.
• Maintains and reports metrics for patient safety and drives improvements across the organization.
• Leads patient safety training and education for staff and leaders; coordinates TeamSTEPPS training for KH leaders and staff.
• Manages project plans, documents progress, and communicates results to leadership and stakeholders.
