You will verify bed availability, support physician communication, and help ensure smooth acceptance of patients within Providence St. Mary's Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
• 2 years of recent, acute care nursing experience.
• Computer (windows environment) experience.
• Experience in a variety of software applications with an emphasis in word processing and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Place transfers-in, direct admits, and ED admits to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
• Facilitate acceptance of patients to Providence St. Mary's Medical Center.
• Verify bed availability as it relates to COBRA regulations.
• Establish strong relationships with key staff throughout the organization.
• Provide feedback to referring physicians for transfers from other facilities.
• Role is primarily administrative; no direct patient care expected.
