Job summary

South Texas Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and oversee the patient experience program, developing and implementing education for staff who interact with patients. The RN will educate, coach and mentor staff on patient experience and participate in performance improvement activities to resolve patient issues and improve outcomes after discharge.

The role requires 3-5 years of acute care RN experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and current Texas RN licensure.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as a Registered Nurse in the acute care hospital setting.
• Bilingual skills (English & Spanish) are necessary.
• Must demonstrate commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the patient experience program, including education and training for staff who interact with patients.
• Educate, coach and mentor staff on all aspects of patient experience as directed by supervisor.
• Facilitate performance improvement activities to achieve resolution of patient issues and improve clinical outcomes after discharge.
