Job summary

The RN will perform assessments, document care, and administer medications in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient status, updating care plans with the team, ensuring proper storage of supplies, and participating in interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license active and in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a health care facility preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Knowledge of computer office/clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care using the nursing process in accordance with facility policies.
• Performs individualized assessments and prioritizes data within 24 hours of admission.
• Continuously evaluates patient status and adjusts the plan with the health team.
• Develops an individualized care plan with the care team.
• Documents care, patient responses, and progress timely.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Ensures supplies, medications and equipment are properly stored.
• Responds to call lights within established timeframes.
• Attends interdisciplinary team meetings and participates in rounding.
