Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and organization goals. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families to support optimal outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, Florida RN license, and BLS; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) may be required for certain units.

Qualifications

Accredited nursing program graduate.
BLS certification required.
Active Florida RN license.
ACLS and/or PALS credentials for select units.
Minimum 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

Plans, implements and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and resources.
Monitors, documents and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referrals, and psychosocial support.
Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept students/new hires.
