Job summary

PIH Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently deliver patient care using the nursing process within policy guidelines and a coordinated team approach.

The role requires a California RN license, BLS and ACLS, NIHSS within 6 months, and a LA City Fire Card within 6 months. CPI/VIP within 3 months is also expected, with prior New Grad internship experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required or in process with eligible status.
• BLS and ACLS must be current at start of employment.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• LA City Fire Card obtained within 6 months of employment.
• CPI/VIP approval or training completed within 3 months.
• Previous New Grad/Internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently use the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Deliver individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, other departments and family.
• Comply with the California Nurse Practice Act and relevant codes.
