Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for patients across age groups and to supervise Licensed Vocational Nurses and other staff. Under Medical Staff direction, you will assess health status, develop a plan of care, and ensure safe administration of medications while maintaining accurate documentation.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Texas RN license and BLS certification; no experience required, reasonable

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• No experience required.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients of any age as assigned.
• Direct Licensed Vocational Nurses and other non-licensed nursing personnel in patient care.
• Support medical staff under their direction and Hospital mission.
• Maintain documentation of patient care and unit activities per standards.
• Clarify orders when something seems inaccurate or unsafe and coordinate with licensed practitioners.
