The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, 1 year of clinical nursing experience, and a BSN is preferred. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, participating in professional development, and ensuring safety

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• Administers medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution for team collaboration.
• Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making in patient care.
• Delegates to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Provides care appropriate to patient age and developmental stage per department standards.
