Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent patient care in alignment with policy and philosophy. You will lead and support the healthcare team, applying patient-centered care principles to every interaction and ensuring service excellence.

The role requires graduate of an accredited RN program, current Texas license, BLS certification, and ongoing competency demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS from the American Heart Association and maintain certification throughout employment.
• Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire; does not require maintaining.

Responsabilités

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates an age-appropriate plan of care utilizing the nursing process and patient education.
• Ensures safety for patients, families, visitors, and employees.
• Assesses risks to patient safety and implements appropriate precautions.
