Job summary
LMH Health in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate care plans in line with hospital policies. The RN will work with an inter-professional team to support patient and family needs.
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00. Requirements: Associate degree in Nursing or diploma, current BLS, and Kansas RN license; preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing. We offer competitive pay, tuition reimbursement and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) required.
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse license to practice in Kansas.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families to guide care.
- Communicate and collaborate with the clinical team to implement and monitor care plans.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient-centered care in collaboration with an inter-professional team.
- Provide patient-centered care and uphold safety and quality practices.
- Maintain professionalism, governance involvement and ongoing learning.
- Attend to duties in alignment with nursing scope and ensure regular attendance.
