Job summary

Jefferson Health in Cherry Hill, New Jersey seeks a registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care within the Kennedy University Hospitals system. The RN will use health information documentation, administer medications per protocol, and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Cultural awareness and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication and delegation to team members.
• Knowledge of health information documentation.
• Discharge planning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
