Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred; completion within 3 years of hire is desirable.
• RN licensed in PA and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Integrates evidence-based practice with patient and family preferences for care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Minimizes risk by following nursing practices, using IT to communicate and support ethical decisions.
• Uses data to monitor care outcomes and drives quality improvement in patient care.
• Collaborates within nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and shared decision-making.
• Participates in committees and seeks ongoing professional growth; acts as a preceptor when appropriate.
