Job summary
Albert Einstein Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices. The role includes collaborating with patients and families, educating on health needs, and participating in safety and quality initiatives.
The position requires a Specialized Diploma, RN license with BLS, and strong acute care experience. A BSN is strongly preferred and commitment to continuing professional development is expected.
Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma is required.
- BSN preferred or will be completed within 3 years of hire.
- Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- BLS certification and RN license are required (PA preferred).
Responsibilities
- Integrates evidence-based practice and nursing standards to deliver optimal care.
- Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
- Minimizes risk by following nursing practices and protocols.
- Uses data to monitor outcomes and participates in quality improvement.
- Recognizes and respects patient preferences and cultural beliefs to provide safe, compassionate care.
- Acts as a preceptor and participates in safety and quality committees.
