Job summary

You will perform clinical tasks including IV starts, blood administration, phlebotomy, medication administration, and patient education, while coordinating with the care team. This on-site role requires IN RN licensure and ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse license valid to practice in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a written plan of care addressing patient needs; modify plan with reassessment.
• Observe and document care, communicate plan to team; accurate EMR documentation.
• Provide patient care including IV starts/restarts, blood administration, phlebotomy.
• Administer medications per orders; monitor effects and document responses.
• Transition patients with current care plan during rounds; provide timely reports.
• Advise physicians and team of changes in patient condition; clear communication.
• Provide education and discharge information to patients/families.
• May precept new employees and oversee other care team members.
• Adhere to shift/unit schedule and other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Bachelor degree in Nursing (preferred)
