Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in Ohio to provide professional nursing care and guide patient and family teaching. The role includes bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and coordinating discharge planning within Meditech documentation.

Strong collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential. Minimum Ohio RN licensure required; BLS and stroke education certification upon hire; ACLS, PALS, TNCC within 1 year; ASLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Clinical nursing assessment and care planning
• Strong communication and patient/family teaching
• Ability to coordinate care with interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Participates in bedside shift report/handoff
• Performs hourly rounding
• Obtains required patient assessments and reassessments
• Implements and monitors nursing interventions
• Documents assessments and outcomes in Meditech
• Coordinates discharge teaching and plans of care
• Triages patients and communicates changes to physicians using SBAR
• Delivers compassionate, patient-centered care and collaborates with team
