The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Perinatal Unit (E6), located in the Harry P. Ward Clinical Tower. The unit offers high-risk obstetrical care, with an average of 300-330 deliveries per month, and features 28 rooms and a neonatal procedure room. The unit supports family-centered care, allowing stable newborns to stay with mothers post-delivery to promote bonding.
