Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Day shift Registered Nurse in Georgia. The RN will provide quality nursing services with the patient care team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while maintaining a supportive environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS, and an RN license in Georgia (or compact). ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in certain units.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire (where applicable).
• Current Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or multi-state license.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with the care team.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional competence and confidentiality; uphold safety standards.
• Support Shared Governance through service on councils or activities.
• Provide a positive, supportive environment for patients and families.
