Join our amazing team at our new, state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, which offers comprehensive treatment for adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental health disorders.

Shift Details

• Part-time Night Shift Available
• 11p-7a weekdays
• 12-hour shifts on weekends
• Every other weekend

Purpose

Facilitate admissions, clinical intake assessments, and utilization review to ensure appropriate care and resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation, complete medication reconciliation, and obtain admission orders.
• Facilitate emergency transfers and review referrals for medical and behavioral acuity.
• Conduct assessments, collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff, and facilitate the admissions process.
• Perform insurance verifications and secure pre-authorizations.
• Monitor patient status, communicate admissions, and ensure all clinical information is received.
• Complete pre-admission assessments, coordinate with physicians, and handle patient documentation.
• Provide empathetic customer service, prioritize patient safety, and coordinate follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (minimum).
• At least one year of clinical or observational experience, preferably in behavioral health.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active nursing license in the state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training provided).
