Job summary

Salinas Valley Post Acute in Salinas, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical care team on a part-time basis for AM and PM shifts. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires a current CA RN license, experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred though new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute, or long-term care preferred but new graduates welcome.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and record patient conditions and vital signs.
• Observe, interpret, and report changes in resident symptoms or status.
• Administer medications and perform routine clinical procedures (e.g., injections, wound care).
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to update and execute individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
