Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse at our Park West Freestanding Emergency Room to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN coordinates and delivers care in collaboration with the care team, using established nursing models to support safety and positive outcomes.

You will be integral in pain management, patient education, and advocacy while maintaining documentation and compliance in a dynamic emergency setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with medical providers and other care team members.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other nursing functions as ordered.
• Documents care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
