Job summary

Mercy in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Manager-Palliative Care for Nights to lead the inpatient Palliative Care Program, overseeing the care team, quality metrics, and Mercy Care Model integration.

The role requires RN licensure, 3 years in Palliative Care, 2 years of leadership, CHPN certification (or within 1 year) and BLS. A Master’s degree in nursing is preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to shape compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license active in hiring state or compact licensure.
• 3 years of Palliative Care experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• CHPN certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead and oversee the Palliative Care Department.
• Coordinate inpatient program with Medical Director for quality care.
• Establish program goals and align with Mercy’s strategy.
• Oversight of Palliative Care Coordinator team.
• foster multidisciplinary teamwork and improve patient outcomes.
