Mercy seeks a Manager of the Palliative Care Program in St. Louis to lead the inpatient team, drive quality patient care, and oversee the Palliative Care Coordinator staff. The role emphasizes program oversight, metrics, and collaboration with the Medical Director.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• 2+ years of Palliative Care experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• Preferred Master’s degree in nursing, MHA, or MBA.
• CHPN certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead and oversee management for the Palliative Care Department.
• Coordinate inpatient Palliative Care program with Medical Director.
• Establish program goals and outcome metrics aligned with Mercy’s strategy.
• Oversee Palliative Care Coordinator team and operations.
• Promote integration of Mercy Care Model to improve quality and safety.
