Job summary

This role requires a Graduate of an accredited RN program with a current Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS if required. Two years PACU/critical care experience preferred; weekday coverage only, with early mornings or later

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for PACU patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and sterile techniques as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, ensure safety, comfort, and privacy; prepare for discharge.
