Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - PACU (RN PACU) to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time role provides post-anesthesia care to surgical patients and a path for professional growth within a supportive environment.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, follow clinical protocols, and participate in onboarding that ensures licensure and certification requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Experience in a PACU or related clinical setting preferred.
• Compliance with onboarding, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the post-anesthesia care unit.
• Administer medications and manage pain as directed by medical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient status, vital signs, and interventions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and recovery.
• Ensure patient safety and follow all facility protocols.
• Adhere to infection control and patient privacy regulations.
