Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Oregon City is seeking an RN to join their PACU team. This role involves caring for patients after surgery, providing education, and collaborating with a dedicated team in Surgical Services. Required qualifications include a nursing degree, RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire from the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the PACU following surgery.
• Educate patients and discharge them post-surgery.
• Work collaboratively with surgical services team.

Surgical Services includes: Short Stay, OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admit, and Sterile Processing. Our diverse team gets patients ready for surgery, is present in the OR with the patient while they have surgery, recovers them from surgery, and then educates and discharges patients home after surgery. We have the pleasure of caring for patients that have chosen to come to the hospital for surgery and it is rewarding to see how quickly we can make a positive impact on a patient's life. RN - PACU at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. Set Schedule: On Call 1830-0730 Every Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday.
