Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for the PACU to join our Surgical Services. The role supports patients from pre-admission through recovery, with set on-call shifts 1830-0730 every Monday through Thursday.

You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Oregon RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials within specified timelines.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License (in-state care).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Care for patients in PACU and throughout the Surgical Services flow.
  • Monitor and respond to patient needs during recovery from anesthesia.
  • Educate and discharge patients home after surgery as applicable.
  • Collaborate with OR team to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Surgical Services includes: Short Stay, OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admit, and Sterile Processing. Our diverse team gets patients ready for surgery, is present in the OR with the patient while they have surgery, recovers them from surgery, and then educates and discharges patients home after surgery. We have the pleasure of caring for patients that have chosen to come to the hospital for surgery and it is rewarding to see how quickly we can make a positive impact on a patient's life. Required Qualifications:

Pay Range: $56.17 - $80.78. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
