Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the region is seeking a skilled caregiver for Surgical Services. You will prepare patients for surgery, support them during operations, and ensure they receive care during recovery. The ideal candidate holds an Oregon RN license and has at least one year of nursing experience. This position offers a per-diem schedule and will require on-site presence in Oregon. Looking for a home with caregivers that enjoy what they do, enjoy each other...and LOVE a good potluck?! Come join our amazing group of caregivers in Surgical Services. Surgical Services includes: Short Stay, OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admit, and Sterile Processing.

Our diverse team gets patients ready for surgery, is present in the OR with the patient while they have surgery, recovers them from surgery, and then educates and discharges patients home after surgery. We have the pleasure of caring for patients that have chosen to come to the hospital for surgery and it is rewarding to see how quickly we can make a positive impact on a patient's life. We look forward to having you join us!

Shift: Monday-Thursday Night on-call

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire - if practicing within this state
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • One (1) year Nursing experience.
