Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking a RN for the PACU (PRN) to assess and prepare patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management implants, and IR procedures. The role involves recovering, monitoring and caring for post-procedure patients across cardiac cath and intervention contexts.

Ideal candidates will have a PA RN license, BLS and ACLS, and experience in Tele, PACU or ICU settings. Excellent critical thinking and time management are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current PA RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management implants, and IR procedures.
• Recover, monitor and care for post-procedure patients (post cardiac cath/intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention).
• Supervise and direct LPNs and CNAs as assigned.

General Summary Of Duties

Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants, and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization, post cardiac intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention, post Cardiac Rhythm Management patients.

Receives Direction From

Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director, and Charge Nurse.

Gives Direction To

LPN, C.N.A.

Experience

• Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization, preferred.
• Tele or PACU/ICU, preferred.
• Advanced critical thinking skills; self‑motivated; adaptable to a fast‑paced environment; time management, embraces change; innovative thinker focused on process, preferred.

Education / License / Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state of PA Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications required
