Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an RN - PACU for a 13-week assignment at an outpatient surgery center. You will play a key role in PACU recovery for orthopedic, ENT, plastics, general, and urology surgeries, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

EPIC experience and critical care background are essential for this fast-paced setting. Comfort with PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and discharge teaching is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required.
• Experience in PACU and outpatient surgery settings essential.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS licenses/certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases.
• Monitor vital signs, assess pain, nausea, and recovery status.
• Discharge teaching and family education on post-op care.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in multi-specialty scrub.

Must-Have: EPIC experience, critical care experience in PACU setting, PIV start skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation, PO and IV medication administration, assessing pain and nausea, discharge teaching, patient and family education, sterile technique, multispecialty scrub experience, teamwork.

Description:RN - PACU position available.Outpatient surgery center with 32 licensed beds.Average patients per day: 60.Experience recovering patients from orthopedic, ENT, plastics, general, and urology surgeries is essential.Comfortability and experience in orthopedic, robotics, sports medicine, ENT, plastics, general, and urology cases required.Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary.Department culture is diverse, inclusive, teamwork-driven, and safety-focused.Scrub color is mint green, provided for all positions.
