• Potential to float to Post-op or Pre-op when trained.
• Scrubs provided; clock in/out at facility.

Description:This is a Post Anesthesia Care Unit position.The unit has 34 beds and primarily focuses on Phase 1 recovery.Nurse to patient ratios are 2:1 in Phase 1.Common cases include robotic prostatectomy, total knee/hip, robotic hysterectomy, and bariatric procedures.2-3 nursing assistants are available in the department.Respiratory therapy will bring equipment to the department as needed.ICU patients do not recover in the PACU, as they are directed to the unit.There is some call required during the week and on weekends.The call response time is one hour.If trained, there may be opportunities to float to Post-op or Pre-op.Scrubs are provided for this position.Each RN will clock in and out at the facility.
